Overview
Easy Student Phone is a free family utility that helps a parent configure an iPhone for student focus — schedules, Screen Time shields, homework timer, and a parent PIN. This policy explains what data the app uses and how it is handled.
Data we access on the device
- Screen Time: Family Controls authorization is used to apply and schedule app shields via Apple’s APIs.
- Notifications: Local reminders after you grant notification permission, when enabled.
- Local settings: Schedules, PIN, homework timer preferences, and focus mode state stored on the device.
- No account required: The app does not require you to create an account on our servers.
Data we do not collect
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
- We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
- We do not read live SMS, chat contents, or browsing history for advertising.
How data is stored
Settings, schedules, PIN, and focus preferences are stored locally on the device (including an App Group shared with Screen Time extensions). We do not operate a backend that receives this personal data.
Children & caregivers
The app is designed to be set up by a parent or caregiver on the device that will be used daily. We do not knowingly collect children’s data on our servers because we do not operate such servers for this app.
Third parties
The app may open system apps related to Screen Time and settings. Those products have their own privacy policies. Easy Student Phone is not affiliated with Apple.
Your choices
You can revoke permissions in iOS Settings, clear parent-entered settings in the app (with PIN), or uninstall the app to remove local app data from the device.
